| Alumni Archive Exhibition - Celebrating International Women’s Day |
| |
The Alumni Archive team hosted a special exhibition about women at the University as part of an International Women’s Day event held on Wednesday 11th March at the University’s Riverside Innovation Centre.
The exhibition featured a timeline exploring the involvement of women throughout the University’s history, accompanied by a collection of photographs, documents and personal memorabilia contributed by women students.
The event also included a talk from alumna Pat Ransome, who reflected on her experiences as a student at the then Chester College of Education and on her continued connection with the University since graduating in 1972.
The Alumni Office is extremely grateful for the many donations of photographs and other memorabilia received from Alumni about their time at the University of Chester and its predecessor institutions.
At present, we’re particularly keen to receive student memorabilia relating to the University’s Warrington campus. If you would like to contribute, please contact alumni@chester.ac.uk.

So, the clocks have now gone forward, and we have an extra hour of light! Hooray! Make sure to enjoy any sunshine, as it can boost your mood, support vitamin D production and increase serotonin levels.
Sunlight is important for our wellbeing, so try to schedule a daily walk, sit by a window, or open your curtains as soon as you get up. And don’t forget to protect your skin if you’re out and about!
