Graduate Outcomes survey |
|
|
If you completed your course between May 2022 and July 2022 you should have received your Graduate Outcomes survey by email recently.
What’s been the next chapter of your Chester story? Graduate Outcomes is your chance to tell us what you have been doing since leaving the University, whether this is employment, further study, self-employment, setting up your own business, or something totally different. Even if you have come back on a new course, we would still love to hear from you. It’s also an opportunity to say how your course prepared you for what you’re doing now and for your future career plans.
It’s really important we get as many responses as possible. Your response will help the University and your department to evaluate the course you took, for the benefit of current and future students.
If you are unable to be reached by email you will then be contacted by phone. However, it’s much quicker and easier doing it online. You have until the end of November 2023 to complete it.
If you have new contact details to help us with this, please let us know by emailing graduateoutcomes@chester.ac.uk, so we can make sure your graduate voice is heard.
If you haven’t received your Graduate Outcomes survey, let us know via the above email address.

Alumni Success Story – Emma Petruzzelli |
|
Images of North Wales’ landscapes by a University of Chester graduate have been brought to international attention after being selected for the “world expo” of photography in China.
Inspired by myths and legends, the photographs by Emma Petruzzelli were showcased at the Dali International Photography Exhibition (DIPE) in Yunnan Province.
Emma, 62, from Holywell, North Wales, has recently completed a Bachelor of Arts in Photography at the University, achieving a first, and the images are from her degree show project.
They featured at the tenth DIPE in China as part of a display of work from seven of the best recent Photography graduates in the UK, relating to the DIPE theme of ‘living elsewhere’. Emma’s images were chosen by curator and juror, Andy Golding, who is also an academic working with universities and groups across the world, and a trustee of the Royal Photographic Society.
Emma said: “I was very proud and excited to have been selected and that my degree show images were available to be seen by a wider and new audience.”

Wellbeing tip of the month |
Coping with uncertainty - Finishing university means some big changes and uncertainty ahead. There are many things in life which are not certain and there are things, which happen to us, that we cannot always control. We often worry and then become very anxious, and this can spoil our enjoyment of the present and affect our sleep. The NHS Every Mind Matters gives some really great, practical things that you can do to help you to deal with change and uncertainty.
