Careers & Employability Graduate Offer - Enterprise Launchpad!
Earlier this year, we began highlighting the various ways the Careers and Employability Team continues to support our graduates and Alumni beyond their time at the University
This month, we are focusing on our next key theme: Enterprise Launchpad!
Enterprise Launchpad is a brand‑new event launching this April, designed to support graduates who are developing early‑stage business ideas or considering starting their own venture.
The free two‑day programme includes practical workshops, networking opportunities, and insights from University of Chester Alumni who have gone on to create their own businesses. It’s a great opportunity to build confidence, strengthen your ideas, and connect with others on a similar path.

| Graduate Outcomes - Make your voice count |
The Graduate Outcomes Survey is a national survey for recent graduates to share where your course has taken you; whether you’re working, studying further, or something else entirely!
Why it matters
Your response doesn’t just show what graduates go on to do. It also helps us understand how well your course prepared you for work or further study. Your feedback directly supports improvements to our courses for current and future students, and it also feeds into the information shown on the DiscoverUni website, helping prospective students make informed choices.
How it works
Around 15 months after you finish your course, you’ll receive an email with a link to complete the survey online.
Did you complete your course between November 2024 and January 2025?
You’ll have been emailed the survey link, so please check your emails. Can’t find it? Email us at graduateoutcomes@chester.ac.uk, and we’ll resend it to you.
If you can’t be reached by email, you may get a call from IFF Research, who conduct the survey on behalf of the University.

| Sustainability tip of the month - Celebrate the (local) world around you! |
22nd April marks Earth Day, and what better way to celebrate the world around us than getting involved in the local area?
If you enjoy a bit of friendly competition, you can help your city climb ‘City Nature Challenge’ rankings by simply taking photos of any wildlife you spot. Every photo you upload helps researchers learn more about local species and supports efforts to protect the animals we share our environment with.

| Wellbeing tip of the month – Sunlight |
So, the clocks have now gone forward, and we have an extra hour of light! Hooray! Make sure to enjoy any sunshine, as it can boost your mood, support vitamin D production and increase serotonin levels.
Sunlight is important for our wellbeing, so try to schedule a daily walk, sit by a window, or open your curtains as soon as you get up. And don’t forget to protect your skin if you’re out and about!
